Paulding County school systems are wonderful---we go back to school on Friday with our Open House on Thursday. Yes, it's incredibly messed up. BUt frankly, I'm releaved to get back into school. It's a million times better than having to spend three weeks with just your family. They have all been driving me insane. especially my little brother. The school is having mandatory AP/Honors meetings tomorrow for those who applied for said courses. Now, me being a nerd, I'm actually maybe a little looking foward to them. Okay, I'm excited, and I'm just weird that way--don't judge me. But I was informed on Friday that I had one less meeting to attend, as I was denied acceptance into Accellerated Math 3. I can't remember the last time I yelled "THANK YOU, JESUS!" in the middle of class when my Honors Lit. teacher was handing out the denial letters. So tonight our school is having a 'Faculty Follies' thing for Relay for Life. I have to say that I do respect them on some level for making themselves look like idiots onstage to help support the cure for breast cancer, but that is not going to stop me from video taping all of them and exploiting them on YouTube. I think some of them are singing and dancing, and my AP teacher, I believe, will be sharing with us a photo of his hair in the '70s. It's going to be an interesting night, to say the least...
